Social Action / Introduction Collection Programs In addition to many volunteer opportunities, our congregation collects various items to help our community partners:
Mitzvah Crib – To support the Mentoring for MOMS project, bring in new or gently used children's toys, clothes, diaper packs, etc. and drop them in the crib located in the north lobby of IHC.
Pop Tabs – Help support the Ronald McDonald House by keeping your soda pop tabs and bringing them to the ECC/Religious School office.
Clothes, Toys, Household Items -- Twice a year, clean out your drawers and closets to help support The Crooked Creek Multi-Service Center, Thrifty Threads, NCJW and Goodwill. Check dates on the Tikkun Olam Calendar.
Emergency Winter Food Drive -- Every February, the cupboard runs bare for The Damien Center. Bring in hearty, healthy foods to support Damien clients who are in need.
High Holy Day Food Drive -- This is a "virtual" food drive that you can do at home. Just go to the Gleaners Food Bank donations page. Paper Recycling Recycle at IHC! You will find a bin in the north parking lot. It is accessible 24/7 for your convenience. Acceptable items: newspaper, magazines, office and school papers, shopping catalogs, mail, envelopes.
