      Jazz Shabbat

      is the date for  
      Jazz Shabbat under the Stars.  
      We will meet at West Park, 2700 W. 116th Street, Carmel, for a Shabbat filled with music and friendship as we welcome the Sabbath bride in a poetic and jazzed-up way. You may bring your own picnic dinner or order a Panera Boxed Supper ($10 per meal) and stay until the sun goes down.  Thanks to the Membership Connections Committee, Brotherhood and Sisterhood for their support of this special evening.  To order dinner, call or e-mail Andrea at 254-2188, ext. 210,, or go to Signup Genius at If you are ordering dinner, we need your response by Monday, July 7.  The Rain Location for Jazz Shabbat is IHC. 
      JULY 17 - 23 
      One Week Only at Details: 25% of All Sales Made by IHC members and Friends will Come Back to IHC.  Details Store owner, Susie Beiman and manager, Felicia Hester (both IHC members) have offered to give IHC 25% of all sales made between July 17-23. Even if you can't join us for "It's All in the Details" Girls Night Out Happy Hour Hour at Details on July 17 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm, please shop anytime that week through July 23 to help us raise money for IHC. CLICK HERE for the voucher, which you can take with you or simply say "please apply this toward the IHC fundraiser". Please forward this voucher to your friends and family, because the more we shop, the more we make! And remember to thank Details for their generosity.
      Plans are being made for the 2014-2015 school year and we have teaching openings in grades Kindergarten and Grade 1. Teaching is a glorious way to make a Jewish difference in the lives of our children. Substitutes for grades K-7 are also needed. If you haven’t taught before, we’ll help you “get your feet wet” – all curriculum is provided and teachers work in teams to plan and carry out lessons.
